The Town of Warrensburg is located in Warren County in the state of New York. Cedarwood Engineering Services PLLC was retained to design a new fire station. The site for the new fire station is adjacent to the existing fire station site and the 2 buildings are connected with a corridor. The new single story fire station design is 8,640 square feet with 4 pull through apparatus bays, 1 single apparatus bay, mechanical room, office, restroom and a connection corridor to the existing Fire Station. The building construction consists of a prefabricated metal building system, low height masonry walls, cast in place concrete floor and energy efficient windows/doors. The mechanical system consists of boilers with infloor hydronic radiant system split into zone areas within the building. The electrical system includes a 225 amp service with energy efficient lighting and controls. This building is equipped with a fire suppression system, fire alarms and a smoke detection system meeting all applicable electrical codes.
