Constructed in 2005, the wastewater treatment plant in the Village of Fleischmanns, located in Delaware County, includes primary clarification as well as an activated sludge process and Parkson DynaSand upflow filters which provide tertiary treatment of the wastewater. The wastewater treatment plant is permitted for 160,000 GPD. Funding for the construction was provided by New York City as part of the 1997 Memorandum of Agreement. The cost of the wastewater treatment plant and collection system was $11,400,000.  This Plant is operated by Cedarwood Environmental Services.
