Project Description:

The Town of Warrensburg is location in Warren County in the state of New York. Cedarwood Engineering Services, PPLC was retained to a design a new fire station.  The site for this new fire station is adjacent to the existing fire station site and the 2 buildings will be connected with an corridor. This new one story fire station design has 8,640 square feet with 4 pull through apparatus bays, 1 single apparatus bay, mechanical room, office, restroom and a connection corridor to the existing Fire Station. The building construction consist of a prefabricated metal building system, low height masonry walls, cast in place concrete floor and energy efficient windows/doors. The mechanical system consist of boilers with in-floor hydronic radiant system split into zone areas within the building. The electrical system consist of a 225 amp service with energy efficient lighting and controls. This building is equipped with a fire suppression system, fire alarms and a smoke detection system meeting all applicable electrical codes.
